Heat of the Day Page 2
“Enough listening.” He nibbled her earlobe. “Time to start doing.”
She spun in his arms and pressed close. Her skin was like wet silk, her arms a slender vise as they wound around him. “Okay, so where do you want to start?” Her voice held a tone of humor.
“Right here.” He slipped down to his knees. His butt touched the cool, steamy wall and he was aware of Piper also pressing against the edge of the tiny cubicle. “Open up,” he said, his mouth against her belly as he pressed his palms to her inner thighs. “Let me in.”
She did as he’d asked, widening her stance.
He could see the delicate folds of her pussy, the crease of her lips and the trickle of the water over her mound. He adored tasting her, making her come on his tongue, and it was what he wanted to do right now.
“Flynn,” she gasped, threading her fingers into his hair. “Oh God, yes, please.”
“Are you begging for it?” he asked and glanced upward.
“If that’s what it takes.” She grinned sinfully and tilted her hips.
He’d have taken his tongue to her whether she’d begged or not, but it was nice to know she wanted it as much as he did. He cupped her ass and speared into the crack of her lips, arrowing through sweet skin and onto her clit.
“Oh yeah,” she said on a moan, her knees giving a little.
He flicked some more, using the flat of his tongue against her sensitive bud. He knew how to make her come in a minute or two like this but he hadn’t yet decided whether to or not. Maybe he’d just get her desperate for it with a fast oral session then toss her onto the bed and feel her come around his cock. God, he loved that, when she was hot and wet, gripping him, spasming around him and—
He released her ass and sought her entrance, pushed two fingers in, rejoicing in the tight sweetness that hugged him.
“Flynn…oh, fuck…I’m going to…” She hooked one leg over his shoulder.
No, you’re not.
He continued to work her up but lightened the touch of his tongue. He wanted to keep her hovering.
She ground against him and tugged his hair. Her body was hot, writhing, frantic almost. On and on he teased and pleased. Her juices mixed with the water and the scent of soap swirled around them.
“Ah, fucking hell, Flynn, don’t tease…” She pressed her heel to his back and sank her buttocks onto his cupped hand. “Let me come.”
He would in a minute. But right now he was enjoying the fact that only this miniscule cubicle, the water and his tongue existed for her.
He added another finger and was rewarded by her long groan and the further tensing of her muscles. Three fingers was about as thick as his cock, though she had taken that and Sera’s at the same time—front and back hole—on many occasions, so he knew she could handle it.
He took her clit in his mouth and sucked, pulling the taut nub into his warm wetness then flicking it with his tongue.
“Ah, fuck…” She pulled on his hair. “That’s going to…make me…”
Come, yeah, he knew that.
He released her, withdrew his fingers from her pussy and stood.
She fell back and the weak walls of the cubicle creaked in complaint.
“Come here,” he said, gripping her waist and hoisting her up.
She wrapped her legs around him and looked downward.
They both watched as he fed his cock into her pussy.
“Ah yeah…” he said as his shaft disappeared and soft tightness hugged him.
The water was cooling but he was glad of it. His skin tingled, longing zipped from his groin up his spine and across his scalp. His blood was hot and his heart hammering.
“Tell me you want me,” he said, squeezing her closer and pulling her down on to him. “Tell me…”
“Always, always…” She found his mouth and kissed him, her tongue pushing between his teeth.
The feel of her, taking him, needing him. Flynn groaned and let desire overtake him. He shoved in, pulled back, control was slipping, satisfaction was all he could think about. He knew Piper was close, their bodies had learned about sex together. The scratch of her nails on his shoulders, the cute little squeaks she made, they were all signs she was climbing those last few steps to climax.
“It’s here…don’t stop,” she cried, dropping her head back to the flimsy wall. “Argh…”
He screwed up his face, allowed the cum boiling in his balls to release and took them both to ecstasy. Bliss flew through his body as he jettisoned his pleasure into his woman.
She wailed and gripped him closer with every muscle—internal and external. The sensation of her pussy contracting around his dick drew more pleasure from his cock and he joined her in a long, vocal groan that confirmed his orgasm.
“Ah, Flynn…” She pressed her palm to the wall, steadying them as he lurched to the right.
He laughed and held her tighter. One day he’d find them a big, luxurious shower cubicle to fuck in. One that had sleek tiles, endless warm water and expensively scented toiletries. It was what Piper deserved.
But for now, this would do. The outcome was the same.
He kissed across her cheek, licked the curve of her jaw then nibbled on her earlobe.
“That was so good,” she murmured.
“You’re so good,” he whispered.
A small shiver attacked her body and he realized the water had run stone cold. Flynn reached out and switched it off.
“Thanks,” she said, her voice loud in the sudden quiet.
“For what? The orgasm or turning the water off?”
“Both.” She grinned.
He lifted her, withdrawing his cock, and set her on the plastic floor. “We’ll fuck like this in Thailand.” He grinned, warming to the idea of leaving Spain. “You’ll have flowers in your hair and taste of mango.”
She laughed and her breasts jiggled against his chest. “And you’ll have a shark tooth necklace and smell of dope.”
He grinned but the smile fell quickly. “We’ll be okay, though, won’t we?”
She hesitated, then, “Yes, of course.”
“I mean without him.”
“We have to be.” She stroked her palm over his cheek, her skin catching on the stubble he’d neglected to shave away for several days. “Let’s face it, most people get their hearts broken and they have to cope with that all on their own. We, at least, have each other to put Band-Aids on those wounds and fill the hole he’s left.”
“You’re always so pragmatic.”
She smiled but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “But don’t give up, not yet. He has another two weeks to come back.”
Chapter Two
Sera hoisted his backpack onto his shoulder and stood. The queue to exit the stuffy train was long and shuffling. It seemed Marbella was a popular option. He’d been traveling for hours. He was hot and thirsty and also had a coil of anxiety in his belly. What he’d done this last month had been right for some people but wrong for others—and now was the time to explain to the ones he wronged.
He glanced out of the window at the blue sky and white buildings. He’d found something special in Costa del Sol—people he hadn’t thought he’d ever have anything in common with but had. They’d stolen a piece of his heart and tapped into a darkness in his desires that he’d never allowed to surface in the past.
He alighted from the train and made his way to the station exit. He’d grab a bus heading west so he could jump off once he was on the outskirts and walk to the caravan. He hoped they wouldn’t both be at work, that one of them was hanging about in the sunshine. He couldn’t decide which though, Flynn or Piper. It was strange, this equal love, this absolute balance of need and obsession. He guessed it was all part of being bisexual, something he’d long since been comfortable with, but this threesome arrangement, it was new for him too. New and special and it felt so right.
He just hoped he hadn’t wrecked it before it’d had a chance to reach full potential.
An hour later Se
ra stood at the dusty entrance to the caravan park. He raised his hand to the old security guy, Carlos, who sat on a crooked deckchair.
Carlos nodded a greeting and batted away a fly—it was as if Sera had never left. He only hoped Flynn and Piper would be so chilled about his return.
The sun beat down on his shoulders as he headed toward the mobile homes that were on the edge of the site. They’d gotten lucky and had the end one with views out to sea from the front window and the deck. If a caravan could be described as paradise then that one was it, not least because it held the two people who’d become so special to him.
Several children went past him on bikes, then a family with buckets and spades and a raggedy-looking dog. They all appeared sandy and damp.
Sera could feel his heart rate pick up as what had been his home for the summer came into view.
The front door opened suddenly.
Sera quickly ducked into the shade of another home and stilled.
Piper stepped out of their caravan, a floppy straw hat perched on her head, and with Flynn close behind.
Sera pressed his hand over his mouth. Part of him wanted to call out, shout his return, but he wasn’t that confident. Sure, they’d welcomed him with open arms into their relationship but still, they were the established couple, he had been the outsider, and now… After what he’d done, perhaps he was well and truly the outsider forever.
Piper turned, reached up and cupped Flynn’s face. She set a lingering kiss on his lips.
Flynn ran his hand down her back and squeezed her ass, pulling her closer.
She had on those adorable tiny denim shorts. The ones both he and Flynn enjoyed removing and flinging aside. Sera felt a tug of longing in his belly. He’d like to be squeezing her ass right now, heck he’d also like to be kissing Flynn right now. They looked so close, so connected, so at ease without him there.
He pulled in a shaky breath and steeled himself. He had to find out if they still wanted him. He’d come this far and if he didn’t go on with his plan, well, he’d always wonder. It would be with him until his final day.
Piper moved away from Flynn, secured her purse on her shoulder—a homemade, patchwork thing she was proud of—and turned. With three quick steps she was down from the decking and heading to the path that led to the beach. The perfect commute to work, she’d often said with a smile. Better than any London bus weaving through traffic and smog.
As her figure disappeared into the long grass and the dunes, Sera turned his attention to Flynn again. He was fiddling with the temperamental BBQ, no doubt preparing to cook himself a late breakfast or an early lunch. He looked good in low-slung khaki shorts and nothing else. His wide chest was golden and hair free, the opposite to Sera’s downy sternum, and the tiny silver bar Flynn had through his right nipple glinted in the sunlight. His mousy brown hair was in need of a trim, but Sera liked Flynn’s hair like that. It was so far removed from the photographs he’d seen of him from back home, in a suit, working for his father in a car showroom—a job he’d hated. His mussed up, sea breeze-filled hair had become a symbol of Flynn’s freedom, or so Sera liked to think.
Flynn stooped and fiddled with the gas tank then went into the caravan.
This was it. Sera couldn’t put it off any longer.
He stepped from the shadows. He wasn’t sure what he’d say—not that he hadn’t thought about it, he had. He just hadn’t decided whether to start with sorry, hello, or how are you. Perhaps he should kiss Flynn and show him with his mouth and body how much he’d missed his male lover.
As he approached, he stared at the door, wondering if Flynn would reappear with a pack of sausages or bacon.
He didn’t.
Glancing at the sea in the distance, Sera walked quietly across the decking. It was strange to be back but also comforting, like coming home—it had been home.
He could hear movement in the small galley-style kitchen. Flynn was preparing food and singing softly, his melodic, calming voice filtering out into the warm air.
Sera held up his hand. He wondered about knocking to announce his presence but changed his mind and instead, stepped in through the doorway and out of the sun.
Flynn looked up from where he was beating eggs. His expression flashed from calmness to shock, the whisk stilled and he stopped singing.
“Hey,” Sera said.
Flynn opened his mouth and shut it again. His eyes narrowed.
“Breakfast, eh? I’m starving,” Sera added, nodding at the eggs. “Want some help?”
Flynn set down the whisk and the bowl. He shoved his hand through his hair, several strands remained upright, and breathed deeply, expanding his chest.
Sera smiled, hoping that would hide his nerves at showing up like this. He then placed his bag on the floor, next to Flynn’s old running trainers, and pushed up the door.
“What the…?” Flynn said, shaking his head.
“I’m back.” Sera held out his hands. “Here I am.”
He saw the blur of a fist flying through the air. He dodged just in time and blocked Flynn’s punch with his forearm. “Jesus, Flynn, what’s the matter?” He stepped farther into the caravan, toward the bedroom and out of the confined space he’d been hemmed into.
“You bastard,” Flynn said, following him, a rise of color growing on his cheeks.
“Listen, I’m sorry, okay. I can explain.”
“Like hell you will.” Flynn aimed another punch at Sera.
Again Sera evaded it, but instead of just blocking he grabbed Flynn’s arm and gripped tightly.
Flynn grunted and tried to free himself, his muscles bulging and his breaths coming fast as he twisted his arm and torso.
Sera stumbled and his calves bumped into the low bed.
Flynn took advantage of Sera’s unsteadiness and managed a left-handed hook to Sera’s cheek, right below his eye.
“Ah, merda…” Sera said, falling to the bed as pain shot over his face and up to his temple. He kept a tight hold of Flynn, who landed on him, their bodies coming into alignment as the mattress shook in complaint.
“Have you any fucking idea what you did to her?” Flynn shouted, his face coming close to Sera’s as he freed his arm.
“I didn’t mean to. It got…complicated.” He pushed at Flynn, fearing another hit was heading his way. But damn, even as he tried to shove himself away he adored having Flynn’s big muscular body covering his. The press of skin-on-skin and the heat of his breaths, it felt so good, and every time they’d enjoyed climaxing together rushed through his memory.
“Oh yeah, how complicated is it to pick up a fucking phone?” Flynn said, his hair flopping forward as he gripped first Sera’s right then his left wrist and hoisted them above his head. He set his bent knees either side of Sera’s waist, his ass on his Sera’s cock.
“I…I didn’t have your numbers,” Sera said, looking up at him.
“Course you fucking did.” Flynn was breathing fast, his chest puffing up and deflating. Pain flashed through his eyes, pain and anger and…lust.
“Flynn,” Sera gasped.
“You had our numbers,” Flynn repeated.
“I lost them…my phone. It was stolen.”
“Yeah, yeah…you expect me to believe that?”
“Sim, look…” Sera indicated his left arm. “See for yourself. I was attacked.”
Flynn frowned. He changed his grip so that he was holding Sera’s wrists in just one of his big hands then tugged up the sleeve of Sera’s red T-shirt.
Sera could have probably shaken Flynn off in that moment but he didn’t, he wanted him to see the evidence of that night. The night that had changed everything.
A jagged red scar that still held the mark of ten suture holes angled across his biceps.
“Fuck,” Flynn said, alarm in his tone. “Someone did that to you?”
“On the way to Lisbon. It was late, I took a shortcut back to my parent’s home. I was tired. It was a mistake to go through submundo do crime.” He paused
as the fear of that moment flooded back to him. “They kicked and slashed me, three of them, then took my phone, my money… That’s why I couldn’t call you and then—”
His words were cut short by Flynn’s mouth hitting down on his, hard.
Thoughts of the dark and the evil men, and the pain, vanished. Sera groaned and arched his back, bashing his chest into Flynn’s. He was trapped, held hostage by a furious lover, but he was being kissed, kissed senseless. Kissed in a way that made him starving for more and in a way that told him perhaps he’d be forgiven.
He pushed his tongue at Flynn’s in a crazy dance of need and struggled to catch his breath.
“I’m so fucking angry with you,” Flynn said, breaking the kiss and staring down at him.
“I know.”
“But you’re okay.” Flynn slid his eyes to the scar again.
“Yes, that was the worst they did.” He hesitated. “I’m sorry, really I am.”
“Sorry…isn’t enough… Not for what you’ve done to her.” Flynn’s voice was broken by his panting. “She’s been so sad.”
“Piper?”
“Of course Piper. You broke her heart.”
That knowledge thrilled Sera but he needed more. “And you?” He pulled at his arms but Flynn didn’t release them, he kept him in a pincer grip. “What about you? Have you been heartbroken?”
Flynn let out a low, rumbling sound that reminded Sera of a growl. He then swooped down for another kiss, one that was full of passion and fury. It had a dangerous edge to it that thrilled Sera, yet also made him wonder just what Flynn had in mind.
It was clear emotions had been running high while he’d been out of town. That calm domesticated scene he’d witnessed minutes before was the tip of an iceberg.
A long, thick wedge of flesh bumped up against Sera’s abdomen—Flynn’s cock, straining through his shorts.
God, he loved that cock. He wanted that cock. No, damn it, he needed that cock. It had been too long since he’d been up close and personal with it.
“I should kick your ass to kingdom come,” Flynn said, kissing Sera’s cheek then treating his earlobe to a sharp nip.
